After 18 years of owning an automotive-related company in the Detroit area, Mike retired to Charlevoix, Michigan to pursue his hobby of nature photography. Northern Michigan provides an array of summer and winter photographic treasures as well as his personal favorite, the spectacular color changes in the fall season. Mike has attended several seminars and workshops led by some of the most dedicated instructors in the photographic field. Mike’s desire to capture a wide selection of natural wonders has led him to some of the most remote locations in North America, South America, Europe, New Zealand and Africa. This year Mike was commissioned to provide 13 ea. 40”x 60” canvas gallery wrap images for the tallest residential building in Michigan, the River House Condominiums in Grand Rapids.
